• Martial Arts:  forms of combat that advocate the integration of the mind
    and body to create a form of physical self-defense.  Some martial arts
    include Aikido, Capoeira, Ju Jutsu, Judo, Karate, Kendo, Kung Fu Wu Su,
    and Taekwondo.

  • Massage:  The massage of muscles, tendons, and ligaments to improve

  • Meditation:  the art of turning one's attention inward in order to achieve
    more lucid consciousness.

  • Naturopathy: a medical practice that incorporates different forms of
    natural therapies -- such as clinical nutrition, homeopathy, hydrotherapy,
    and herbalism -- along with traditional diagnostic and medical treatments.

  • Numerology:  the study of the symbolism of numbers

  • Pilates:  Founded by Joseph H. Pilates in the early 1900's, this is a form of
    exercise designed to develop a complete and balanced individual by
    strengthening and stretching the body while fully engaging the mind.
